DashFloat
A fast, robust CLI AI coding harness in Elixir.
Streams LLM responses, executes structured tool calls, and manages coding sessions — from the terminal.
What it is
Built on OTP
A pure render-loop UI process, an agent-manager GenServer, stream-handler tasks, and isolated subprocess execution — I/O never blocks rendering.
Terminal-native
An ex_ratatui TUI: a streaming markdown log, a live status bar, and a multi-line input with history, mouse selection, and clipboard copy.
Installs in one line
A single curl | sh installs a self-contained release — no Erlang or Elixir toolchain — with a Homebrew tap for macOS.
Quickstart
Pre-alpha. One command, no Erlang or Elixir toolchain.
curl -fsSL https://github.com/fluxvale/dashfloat/releases/latest/download/install.sh | sh
dashfloatPoint it at any OpenAI-compatible provider in~/.config/dashfloat/settings.json5 (API keys live in a siblingkeys.json5, never in the settings file) — theREADME has the full setup guide.

The README and everyarchitecture decision record are rendered straight from the repository.
